We offer a range of tailor-made, memorable and alternate horse trails for both the experienced and first-time rider. Choose an easy or more challenging trail through our beautiful countryside, forests, mountains or the quaint village of Hogsback.
We practice natural horsemanship and believe in forming trusting partnerships with our friendly, well-trained and easy to ride horses.
Enjoy a ride during the day, at sunrise, sunset or under the full moon. Our rides may incorporate a picnic on the mountain, a swim with the horses in a local dam or breakfast/lunch at one of our fine restaurants in the village of Hogsback or even a Pub-Trott/Crawl. Every ride is personalised to indulge you.

DAY HORSE TRAIL RATES
1.5 hours @ R400.00pp
2.5 hours @ R600.00pp
2.5 hour ride to a local shebeen and village @ R600.00pp
Half-Day @ R950.00pp
Full-Day @ R1250.00pp (Inclusive of Lunch)
Elandsberg Ride @ R1450.00 This extra-long full day ride is a treat of a day on horseback onto the peaks of the highest mountain in the area. (Inclusive of Lunch)
Pub Trott/Crawl – 10 hours at R950.00pp (excluding meals and beverages) Visit Hogsback’s pubs and eateries on horseback.

We can plan the rides on a whim as we feel. Choose half day or full day rides as you fancy, we can even throw in a shorter ride or overnight ride as we choose. Rides charged as per the costs above with accommodation of choice and meals at Terra-Khaya.
