Horsing Around is a 5 week riding camp for adults or wanna-be “Cow-peeps”.

Are you ready to spend quality time with an amazing herd of horses, riding everyday, camping out with the steeds, moon-light riding, basically just being with horses and having fun!

Costs

• 5 Weeks R22 500.00pp = R4 500.00 per week
• 4 Weeks R20 000.00pp = R5 000.00 per week
• 3 Weeks R17 100.00pp = R5 700.00 per week
• 2 Weeks R13 000.00pp = R6 500.00 per week
• 1 Week R7 500pp

Please note: Week 5 is a 9 day period/week and we will do a 5 day / 150km ride to Katberg Eco-Golf Estate and Weylands Country House & Farm in Post Retief. The accommodation on that ride is rather pricey as it is more luxurious than usual. We therefore charge an extra surcharge of R2 500.00pp for that week’s ride.

Rough Weekly Schedule (Subject to change)

• Week 1 | Meditations with the steeds, ground work, daily short rides and a 3 day camping ride with cattle herding.
• Week 2 | Full Moon week – Sunrise & sunset ride, full moon ride, pub crawl, day rides and ground work
• Week 3 | 3 Day Amathole trail to Elundini & Xhosa homestay plus day rides, Elandberg ride and ground work.
• Week 4 | 4 day Blue Crane Pools ride with shorter day rides, ground work and meditations.
• Week 5 | (9 days) 5 day Katberg & Post Retief ride, shorter rides and meditations with horses.
